Home Comforts – Our 5 Favourite Sofas, Made in Britain
Sofas are the focal point in most living rooms and can be one of the most frequently used items of furniture in any household. Choosing the right sofa to suit your comfort and style needs can be a tough decision. Here we have shortlisted our Top 5, all handmade and from the UK.
We love this 1930’s inspired pincushion sectional sofa. The buttoned detail gives this sleek and contemporary design a classic twist. Buttoned sofas can be typically firm, but don’t be fooled… this sofa is anything but! The low armrests and deep seats are perfect for those lazy evenings in.

The Bancroft sofa combines both sophistication and comfort. The square arms and stud detailing adds a touch of luxury to any room. This sofa is also available as a sectional design, enabling you to create a bespoke arrangement to suit any layout of room. Seen here in our Old Vicarage Renovation in Kent.
If you are looking for a super comfy love seat, then the Crumpet Chaise is the chair for you. The foam and feather filled cushions make this the ultimate seat to sink into and relax. With the generous dimensions, it is also the perfect chair for a snuggle!
With its boxy silhouette and chunky quilted detailing, the Fleur sofa balances classic and contemporary. The high arms make this an ideal sofa for reading and although we wouldn’t typically associate a linear shape with comfort, simply accessorising with cushions would transform this into a snug seat. You would be hard pushed to find something more stylish for a formal sitting room.
The Loft sofa is overall more of a traditional style with its low arms and skirted bottom. This style suits a more relaxed/rustic interior scheme and was first spotted by us in the cabins at Soho Farmhouse. The deep seats and loose padded cushions make this the perfect spot to relax and wind down in complete comfort.
